We’re half through 2021 and already this year we’ve seen climatic events set to eclipse even the worst of what’s been witnessed previously. Try as we might, there’s no escaping the fact that the climate crisis is here.

While political eyes seem myopically fixed on economic recovery to match pre-COVID growth levels, such thinking is fast-becoming short-sighted to the point of apocalyptic. 

As an absolute matter of urgency, we desperately need to discover new ways of living and working that allow the planet to begin to recover from the damage we’ve caused it. While the size and scale of the paradigm shift required are beyond most human imagination, it’s no longer an option not to try.
