UK’s ‘4 Day Week Campaign’ to widen trial, following success of initial pilot

The next trial will also look at flexible start and finish times, a nine-day fortnight and compressed hours.

On the heels of the success of its first trial, the ‘4 Day Week Campaign’ group will be  launching a wider UK pilot looking at flexible working.

The second scheme will run from the Autumn, and the group hopes Labour will be more progressive in their approach to flexible working practices than their predecessors - the Tory UK government was actively hostile to the idea of a four-day week.

The next trial will also look at flexible start and finish times, a nine-day fortnight and compressed hours.
